Why does Maui Jim love #NationalSunglassesDay? Established by the Vision Council, this annual holiday was conceived as a way to bring awareness, not only to the fashion of sunglasses but also to their importance to eye health—two key pillars to the Maui Jim reason for being!

At Maui Jim, we strongly believe that #SeeingIsAGift, and that is why we fully support National Sunglasses Day. It is also why all of our sunglasses block 100% of harmful UVA and UVB, while also providing comprehensive protection from HEV (High-Energy Visible) or blue light, for the best outdoor protection for your eyes.

Style

This year, we are proud to feature two new styles for National Sunglasses Day. For men, a rectangular style from our PureAir® collection called Honokalani. It is reminiscent of the popular Red Sands style, but with sharper angles and a flatter, more on-trend appearance.

For women, a fashionable yet extremely lightweight style called Tiger Lily. This titanium frame with an acetate trim piece is available in two iconic color combinations and features our proprietary MauiBrilliant™ lens material.
